Just wanted to share a few more pics from my latest trip to LA! It’s no secret that I love this place, and not just for the obvious reasons either. Sure, the weather is perfect and there’s the breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, but I also appreciate that I am totally welcomed here with my all crazy ways, like my organic, animal-free food preferences and obsessive recycling habits. (Can you believe I actually carry trash around with me until I get home just to ensure it’s disposed of properly?!!) Anyway, in LA I feel right at home. I know that most people here are not insane like me, but it is clear that there are significantly more options to support this way of life than a lot of other places, so I feel a little less of a weirdo here!

We were able to do a little exploring into some of the other neighborhoods, like Silverlake, Melrose and West Hollywood. It was a lot of fun and we discovered some great new spots, but we were glad to get back to the beach in time for sunset. Along the beach in Venice and Santa Monica will always be my and little Santino’s favorite.

If you’re ever in LA, I have tons of recommendations, but here are some included in this post:

Gracias Madre – By far the best vegan restaurant I’ve ever been to. It also has a super cool drink menu, including an excellent spicy margarita! Even if you’re not vegetarian/ vegan, you have to go here. Trust me, you’ll love it :)
Intelligentsia Coffee – I like the latte with almond milk and Fletch prefers the coffee – both are delicious! This place has a bit of a hipster reputation, but who cares, right? It is worth a trip.
Coast at Shutters On The Beach – This is such a cute beachfront cafe with delicious food – not a vegan/vegetarian restaurant, but there’s something on the menu for everyone. Even if we are not staying at Shutters, we make it a point to eat here.

Hope you all have a wonderful week, XO!
